So you know how I’ve been saying for the last couple of weeks that I’ve been a bit distracted? Well, that’s because I was an expectant Mama! Please welcome the newest member of our little family!
Stitches!!
She’s an 8 week old German Angora rabbit who I got from Chris at Woolybuns. One purpose of our trip to visit Chris on my birthday was to find out if being bunny parents would be right for us. We decided to go for it about a week later and have been preparing ever since. The last week just about killed me, I mean, look at the cuteness! But the day we could bring her home finally came!
It wasn’t an easy choice. There were four girls to choose from, Chris decided to keep one so we had three left. One seemed pretty scared by the whole process, so we decided against her right away. I wanted a bunny that could hold its own considering it would have to share a home with a kitty.
The two left were a tough choice, but despite being the smallest of the litter, Stitches came out on top. Her new Daddy agreed.
And so did I.
So we brought her home.
She’s settling in pretty well.
And the initial introduction to her big sister went pretty well.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a bunny and a kitty demanding my full attention!

My favorite is the last picture of the two girls. Very cute.
BTW, I’m loving the 60st cylinder! I wore a pair of socks off it yesterday. Fit perfectly. How goes life with the 72?
Awww, she is so pretty and fluffy
How do you stand so much cuteness in one bundle????
Best wishes to your new baby. She is adorable. (So, does this mean you’ll be spinning your angora?)

SQUEE!!! Teh Cyute!
OMG she is so cute. Congratulations! I can’t wait to meet her.
way too cute!!! she’s totally adorable!!
Christ Almighty! Stitches is adorable! And she is a fiber beast! Give her a big kiss from me. Are her feet yellow?
She’s adorable! I love the look of angoras, but since I don’t spin, the fur would just be too much for me to deal with.
I hope this isn’t annoying, but I just wanted to let you know that you should put something down over the grate in her cage. Bunnies can get sores on their feet from walking on wire. I put cardboard down in one of my rabbits’ pens, which he loved to dig at and chew. Which reminds me, he doesn’t have a pen anymore, so I really need to find something for him to chew on besides the walls!
Oh god! So cute!! I used to have a dog and a bunny and they learned to live well together – and buns have SO much more personality than people think! Jealous!
So cute!
Are the kitty and bunny getting along okay?
Awwwww! She’s SO cute! I had a bunny when I was little, but it wasn’t all fluffy like that. Mine’s name was Clover.
YAY! Stitches is so cute! You two will be great bunny (or as The Boy says, “Bun Bun”) parents!
Such a pretty girl! Congratulations!
Aw! How cute!
. . . I miss my bunny.
He wasn’t an angora – actually, he was a poor lost bunny from the street. But he was sweet.
I get behind on my Bloglines and look what I miss!! Happy Bunny Day to you, mama. I loved having and angora and hope you have as great of a time as we did!
